Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in Northern California, I work in telecom and most of all I am a follower of Jesus Chris AND I am a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the church in 1991 when I was 20 years old. I am the only member in my family so far. I have a loving wife and 3 great children. This year I will be celebrating my 21st anniversary in the church. The church almost literally saved my life, and provided me a solid foundation to live my life by. I served a full-time mission in Central Florida from 1993-1995 and loved every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

Because the truth and the authority to administer in holy things, is what matters most to me when it comes to the Savior's teachings. I have found both of those things here, and the Holy Ghost has born wittness to me of that fact.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving in the church and my community. I have served the youth of the church, and the adults. I have served as the Ward Mission Leader which allowed me to serve more then just our faithful members, but everyone who lived in and around me, member or not.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Chris
I believe that God, my Father, is just that. He is a loving Father who is mindful of my very existence. He is not just a spirit floating around the universe, he is a loving and kind person of perfection. He has commanded us to become like him in every way. He has a body as tangible as man's, and has shown us that we may strive to become like him. And although we will fall short in this life, He sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ, so that we may all have a chance to return to His presence, and wrap our arms around Him in an everlasting embrace.
