Hi I'm Brad

I grew up in California. I am an avid diver. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California and just barely got home from serving a two year mission for the church. I will soon be resuming my studies and have no idea what I want to study or do for my profession. My whole life I have strongly disliked change but love trying new things that test me, weird huh? I have always really enjoyed sports, particularly football and soccer. I love life and am glad to live it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have reflected on my path to follow God a lot and have realized that in large measure it has resulted from just trying out life. I grew up a mormon and could always recite whatever answer required about our beliefs but my life was wanting in the sense of a burning testimony or conversion. I failed to earnestly seek God and was left without understanding His ways. When I turned 18 and left home I finally began to seriously seek Him and discovered a beautiful relationship with someone I have never seen. My change to follow God wasn't complicated. It involved me recognizing my mistakes and really coming to terms with the fact that I was wrong. From then on I have been a devoted follower of Christ and have a hope to use my whole life to help God

How I live my faith

I recently returned from serving as a full time missionary for the church and don't currently have any responsibilities connected to a local congregation. The most sincere way that I live my faith is understanding the way God talks to me and then doing what it takes to receive that communication. That often means reading my scriptures and praying but even more than that it means pondering about my study and prayers. As I have listened to God's "voice" in the various ways He communicates, I have been led to serve others, to sacrifice of myself and to do faith promoting things.
