Hi I'm Rosanne

I have spent most of my life living in beautiful Colorado. I am married and have 3 grown children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Colorado and attended elementary and secondary school here. I graduated from college and began working as a Registered Dieititian. I now specialize in diabetes education. I was fortuate to work only one day a week when my children were little. I now work full time to help them pay for college. I love my children and try to stay close to them even though they live in 3 different states. I also enjoy biking, knitting, crocheting, college football, college and pro basketball. I also play the piano and sing. I enjoy the peace that music brings to my life. Since my children left home it is nice to have more time to spend with my husband. We enjoy going on bike rides and to concerts. I have been active in the leadership of my professional associations for many years. I find great satisfaction in helping my profession gain recognition and provide service to others. Through my involvement in my professional associations I have had the opportunity to meet and work with people from all over the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family and have attended church all my life. There were times when I questioned my parent's beliefs, but I came to believe on my own by the time I was 18. Since then my conviction in the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ has grown. I find peace in knowing where I came from, why I am here and where I am going. I cherish the emphasis that the church puts on family. I belive that emphasis has helped me in raising my children and staying close to my husband. I also like the church's emphasis on serving others and humanitarian aid. I spent some time living in Guatemala and saw the great poverty so many of the people there live in. It has given me perspective and helped me to be less materialistic. My testimony of the life and mission of Jesus Christ has grown over the

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day in all that I do and say. I read from the scriptures every day. I pray every day. I have always had a responsibility to help the local church unit. I have served in the leadership of the women's organization, as a teacher to the children, youth and adults. I have spent most of my time serving in church using my muscial talents. I have played the piano to accompany congreational singing, selected the hymns to be sung in our worship services and conducted the congreation in singing them. My willingness to work in community service is a result of the desire to serve that I have been taught in church. I hope that the light of the Savior's love shines from my face and I have been told at times that people notice something different about me.
