Hi I'm Shelby.

I am recently married and living a very happy life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven girls. I love sports, especially basketball. I also really to cook! My husband and I are both going to college and working full time. Life is busy, but when we step back and look at what really matters, we always feel much happier.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me happy. I have had multiple friends who have mentioned to me that Mormons always appear to be happy - that's because the Gospel allows us to find peace in a world of craziness! I am a Mormon because I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of our world. He has given His life for me, for YOU, for all of us! He knows our sorrows, pains, and discomforts and has suffered that we might overcome them. His Gospel is the same as it was thousands of years ago, when he walked with his disciples on this earth. I believe that we are all entitled to agency to choose as we wish. I also know that if you are seriously desiring to know Jesus Christ, or if you are wondering what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is all about, you should definitely read the Book of Mormon. You will learn for yourself of its truth. This Gospel is real - it is the root of all of my happiness!!

How I live my faith

I attend church once a week, and Sunday has become one of my favorite days. We have decided that we will spend time together as a family doing uplifting things on the Sabbath day. I am very close to many of the other ladies in my church. We do our best to serve each other when needed everyone always could use a little bit of service. It can make someone's day, which actually makes you happier too! I organize activities with other ladies that happen regularly - we do fun things, like crafts and dinners. I think living by example through obedience to the Lord's commandments is the best we can do.
