Hi I'm Megan

I'm a wife, a mother, and a high school teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, and a high school English Teacher. I love to travel, take pictures, work in my garden, and arrange flowers for weddings. I also love spending time with my family. I did a study abroad in Vienna, Austria during college and look forward to visiting again with my family some day. I grew up mostly in Southern California, and love the beach, the sunshine, and just being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church - my dad comes from a long line of Mormons, and my mom was baptized when she was a teenager. But I really gained a testimony of my own in my growing up years from reading the scriptures on my own and with my family, and going to seminary, an early morning scripture study class for high school students. I came to understand the importance of the Gospel of Christ, and how much He blesses me in all that I do. As I got older and moved out on my own, I realized even more how much this church means to me, and how much I want it to be the center of my life. When I was planning to get married, I knew there was no other place than the temple of the Lord where I would want to get married, because there I could be married for all eternity. I know I can be with my family forever because of the blessings of this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I go to church with my family every Sunday. At church, I teach music to the kids. We sing songs about Christ and other principles of the Gospel. Music is such a wonderful way to teach and feel the spirit. During the week, I read the scriptures and pray with my family each day.
