Hi I'm Bob Bailey

I am proud to be Mormon and proud to be an American.

About Me

I am a convert to the church. I was baptized in Aug, 1977. I am married to Mitzi Messinger Bailey. We have 7 children, 6 grandchildren. I am self employed as a State Farm insurance agent.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has brought so much happiness to me and my family. The strong values have helped me raise my children to become wonderful people. All the teachings of the church are so clear that there is no question the church is directed by our savior Jesus Christ. Each gospel principle is applicable for anybody and everyone can gain exaltation into the kingdom of God. I am grateful for these teachings in my life and my childrens lives. The greatest truth in the world today is the knowledge that God the father and his son Jesus Christ are separate beings and they love us all and want us to be happy and they live. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints can help all to understand these truths.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday and abiding by the teachings of the church. I want to help my fellow man each and every day. I enjoy the Boy Scouts of America as an activity arm for the youth of the church and have a calling that allows me to help.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Bob Bailey
A simple truth about baptism is that we baptize by total immersion. Jesus Christ was baptized by John the baptist by total immersion. Baptism is basic to our belief that all can be baptized for the remission of sins and this is the first step to membership in the church. Show more Show less
