Hi I'm Blake.

I'm a student. I'm a musician. I'm gonna fly airplanes, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a senior at the University of Washington, studying Sociology. I've been married for two wonderful years to a beautiful girl named Mimy and we don't yet have any kids. My wife works for Alaska Airlines as a Flight Attendant, and I hope to attend flight school later next year and eventually fly commercially. I can play four musical instruments, so I'm a bit of a musician at heart. I play soccer and I love the outdoors, although I don't get to see it very often.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that this church maintains the true gospel of Christ. I could go on about how I searched for answers in other places, but it all comes down to the confirmation I have received from the Holy Ghost, as described in the New Testament and the Book of Mormon. I can't deny what I have experienced and I am grateful to finally know the truth.

How I live my faith

I work specifically with the men in my congregation to orchestrate and account for service opportunities, like visiting church members in their homes, helping families move, maintaining church facilities, and inviting others to organized recreational activities.
