Hi I'm Jackson

I grew up in California. I'm a husband and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate. I am a Social Studies teacher. I have been married to my beautiful wife for a year. We are expecting a baby in December. I enjoy baseball, basketball, classic literature, music, movies, board games and drawing.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I found truth. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, sacrificed Himself for each of us. He established a church during his life. Years later the church and Jesus' teachings were changed. That same original church was restored again through the prophet Joseph Smith. I have asked God in prayer if this is true. I now know that it is true. Being a Mormon has brought peace and happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by how I treat others. I seek to serve as Jesus served. I attend church every Sunday where I get to teach some of the men of my congregation about how we can become better men and followers of Jesus Christ. I also get to do missionary work during the week. I try to show my wife how much I love her every day.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that the family is the central unit of society. We also believe that families are eternal. That means that I can be married to my wife after I die. That brings me so much happiness. This knowledge helps us treat our families with love and respect. We know that the relationships we create now will be the ones we have after death.   Show more Show less
