Hi I'm Aaron

I am a student at Utah State University working on a masters in mechanical engineering

About Me

I was born in Roosevelt Utah, grew up helping grandpa on the farm. Attended and graduated High School. When I turned 19 I served a 2 year mission for the church in Mexico. Now I am here in Logan Utah studying at Utah State Universiy working on a degree in mechanical engineering. My wife is Holly Jarrett.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that what I believe is true.

How I live my faith

Each member is given responsibilities here in the local congregation, it helps all of us serve each other. My responsibilities fall into the administrative side, I help the bishop with whatever he needs, it allows him to be able to divvy out certain tasks so that he can focus on what is most important the members of the congregation. As such I take care of his schedule, keep a calendar of events, prepare for meetings etc. I also have been asked to be a home teacher, that means that I have been asked to befriend a couple of people in the congregation and be there for them if they ever need anything. Aside from the things I do in the congregation, living my faith filters into my everyday living. It involves personal prayers, personal scripture study and more. This is something that has helped me to get to know my savior on a very personal basis and has been a great blessing in my life. And whats more, I have found that the more I devote my life to him, the more he blesses me and I feel more and more like I am doing what I should.
