Hi I'm Jim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from the small town of Tropic, Utah near the awesome Bryce Canyon National Park. I left my small town and high school sweetheart, Mikki, to serve a mission in Riverside California for two years. I loved serving the great people there in the Spanish wards throughout the mission. After returning in 2009, I returned to Southern Utah University and married Mikki in December of that same year. I have about 1 year left at SUU before attaining my Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and hope to find good employment.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. That is the main reason that I am a Mormon. I have had many spiritual witnesses that He is real. When I feel that I am weak in my testimony, I have sought for confirmations through the spirit again and again of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven. I pray to Him and He answers me. Through my communication with him and the Holy Ghost, I have gained a testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith, who was called to restore the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth. Because of these key parts of my testimony, I continue to learn and grow in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I may not know the truth of all things yet, but I continue to learn what Jesus Christ wants me to learn in this life.

How I live my faith

I currently serve with my wife as Sunday School teachers. I enjoy getting to know the new members in our ward that frequently come in as we are in a University Married ward.
