Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I study Spanish and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). I hope to teach Spanish in a high school. I served a mission for the Church in New York City.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church simply because it is the church of God. I have a testimony or a witness that God is my father and that Jesus Christ is my savior. It feels so right when I live the gospel and I feel so uncomfortable when I don't. I know that God asked Joseph Smith to restore His gospel to the earth and that God still calls men (prophets) to lead the church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith daily, by helping those in need. I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible so that I can learn how to better myself. I communicate with my Father in heaven through prayer. I try to live to a high moral standard, by being honest and chaste.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No way! Everyone on earth, mormon or not, is a Child of God. Each deserves to be treated as such. We are here to help and lift one another and to ease other's burdens. This church is very much focused on service to all who are in need. Show more Show less
