Hi I'm Lisa

I am a mother, a musician, an RN and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a dentist and have 7 children. I am a retired nurse and have been a homemaker for many years. I play the piano and organ at church, and play cello in an orchestra/choral organization. I love being a mom and I also enjoy reading when I get the chance.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that we are all spirit children of our Father in Heaven, that He sent His son Jesus Christ to earth to show us the way back to Him, and that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we have the promise of eternal life in the hereafter. I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ, that we have a living prophet on the earth today, and the scriptures to guide us through our journey here on earth. I believe in prayer, that Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers, and that He loves and cares about me, as well as you. I see the hand of the Lord in every day of my life, and am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

My faith is a part of every day of my life. I pray daily, as an individual and with my family, and read my scriptures every day. I try to be honest, kind, and use my time in worthwhile activities. I hold several callings at church I play the organ, serve as a counselor in the women's organization, and am on the girl's camp committee. I am also active in my children's lives and with their activities, serving in booster clubs, in service projects, and being involved with them. In everything I do, I try to act as a true Christian, in word and in deed.
