Hi I'm Jenessa

I love having good conversations, sitting in the sun, and eating yogurt. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in Public Health with an emphasis in health promotion. I love to be active and spend time outdoors. One of my favorite things to do is ride my vintage Schwinn cruiser bike around town on a beautiful day. I love people and I think one of the greatest things in life is being able to build meaningful relationships with those I come into contact with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have been so guided and directed in my life by following the feelings and revelations I have received from the Holy Ghost that there is no denying it. I know with a surety that Christ is aware of me and what I am going through. He is not only aware of me, but He loves me with such a pure love that is impossible to ever explain. He wants my experiences in life to be the best they can be and He is more than willing to give me the strength to get through the hard times no matter how big or small.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the small everyday things that make up life. I choose to participate in activities that will uplift me and bring me closer to those around me. Every Monday evening I get together with a group of 10 or so other college aged students where we teach other principles of the gospel, play games, and get to know each other better. I attend church every Sunday where I feel so welcomed and get the opportunity to be taught by my peers.
