Hi I'm Abbie

I grew up in sandy Utah, i am a lighting designer and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have just recently returned from serving a mission in Baltimore Maryland. Serving in this capacity has been a great blessing in my life. I grew up in the LDS faith and have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel for my self through much study and prayer. I love the book of Mormon and how it teaches me more of the gospel and of my savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Because there is no other place where we can find answers to the great questions of our souls. Those answers come softly and gently to our hearts through the power of the holy ghost and through earnest study of the book of Mormon. Revelation...personal revelation from our father in heaven. I know this is true for I have put the Power of prayer and study to the test to receive personal revelation through the whisperings of the spirit to my mind and heart. Revelation to know that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that Joseph Smith was called by God to be the prophet to restore the true and living church back to the earth.

How I live my faith

Every day I wake up and study the scriptures for an hour. It brings such peace in my life and helps me to prepare for the day and see the joy in each day. I am blessed to teach in the church as a Sunday school teacher. I love seeing and hearing the testimonies of others in my class. I am truly grateful to be able to serve in the church, for when we do we can truly feel the love of our Heavenly Father.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Abbie
Faith is truly like a seed. You must plant it to see the fruits. So how we plant it in our lives is one step at a time. We must be humble and willing for it to grow..for if our soil is not fertile and ready then the plant will never come to be. The things we feed our seed of faith with are prayer, scripture study, church attendance, service, and etc. The list is endless....but just takes one at a time. Show more Show less
