Hi I'm Connor.

I love tennis, 4 wheeling, and college football. I work in HR and I speak Japanese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married with 5 kids, a mortgage, and live in Centennial, CO. I have an MBA and the truck I've always wanted. I lived in Japan for two years and play the drums (although it's been a while since I played in a band). I love my job in HR and learning things around organizational behavior, the gospel, and leadership. Finding time for everything is always a challenge. But family is the most important, without them I'd be nothing and nothing would be worth it. My family and I just recently moved from Raleigh, NC, and it has been an adjustment, but we are closer to where we grew up, so that is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family in Utah with parents who were great examples of faith. I came to know that Joseph Smith really did see God and Jesus Christ when I was in high school. I was reading the Book of Mormon and was struggling with normal issues as a freshman. I was overwhelmed with everything such as friends and schoolwork. It was the first time when I really didn't think I'd be able to do something. I was reading in Alma 34:41 and I felt so strongly that the Lord was speaking to me. I was overwhelmed by this feeling of peace, of love, and of confidence for the future. I knew that he was telling me he was there and that what I was reading was true. I've had so many experiences such as this over my life, but this was the first experience that I remember.

How I live my faith

The main thing I try to do is to follow Jesus Christ in the many roles I have. As a father, as a husband, as an employee, as a neighbor, and a friend. I think it's important to strive daily to stay close to God and his Holy Spirit, so I can help someone if need be. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me such job in my life that I could not think of life without it. So one of the things I love to do to live my faith is share it with everyone!
