Hi I'm Christine

I grew up in Southern California. I am a wife, a mother of 7 and a grandmother of 23 and counting. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My life revolves around my family. I have 7 adult children and 24 grandchildren. I love being a part of their lives, frequently babysitting the grandchildren as the opportunity arises. My husband is retired so we are able to travel frequently to visit our family who do not live close to us. I love to sew and have made several Halloween costumes for my grandchildren. I also like to make quilts and do research on my family history.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was born, so I have attended this church all my life. Throughout my life I have had my prayers answered, including knowing who I should marry and how to properly raise my children. I learned through being a member of the Church that I am literally a daughter of my Heavenly Father and that he loves me. Because I know that families can be together forever, there is a strong desire to do all I can to teach my children and grandchildren to love each other and keep God's commandments.

How I live my faith

I have done a lot of volunteer work throughout my life. I have held several positions in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), including president. I have also been active in service at my children's schools for almost 30 years, independent of my PTA service. Within our church organization, I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults as a teacher and as a leader of the auxiliary organizations most of my life.
