Hi I'm Phil

I live in southern Minnesota with my wonderful wife and children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in northern Minnesota on a dairy farm with my family of eleven, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. I was baptized at age eight, I have received many blessings since then and I am very grateful for them. I enjoy spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren. My hobbies include hunting, flying airplanes, and owning my own business.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I was brought up in the church and later in my youth I gained a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and his wonderful teachings. I came to know that the prophets are true and Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ in these latter days. I'm grateful to know, through the gospel, that I am able to be with my family for eternity. The gospel teaches us to be good examples, serve others, and live righteously so that we will be able to return to our Father in Heaven. I have a strong testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and I'm so grateful for all that Christ has done for us.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to live the gospel through the example of Jesus Christ and his teachings. It helps me when I have to make decisions at work or at home, either through prayer or Christ's example. I'm active in my church by serving in different callings for my ward. I am currently serving as a councilor in the bishopric for my home ward.
