Hi I'm Winter

I am a mother of three, world traveler and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family and began babysitting at a young age with my older sisters. I quickly developed a love for being around and teaching children. I went to college and got my degree in Elementary Education graduating just 2 weeks before I had my first baby of my own. I have been home ever since and am now a mother of three beautiful children. My husband and I love to travel, swing dance, eat out at different restaurants and go on adventures with our kids. I also enjoy singing and shopping. We live a mile from the beach and love the beautiful weather and sunshine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints is truly Christ's church. When Christ was on the earth he established the true church of Christ, but after his death and the death of all the apostles his church was lost and bits and pieces of the church were taken and formed into many churches all over the earth. Joseph Smith when asking in faith which church he should join was told by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that he should join none of them because none of them contained the whole truth. He was then told that through revelation and power from God he was to restore Christ's Church to the earth and translate the Book of Mormon. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed about and gained a confirmation of its truthfulness by the power of the Holy Ghost. I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God and I know that we have a living Prophet today even President Thomas S. Monson. I know that this is truly the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and so that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving daily to be more like Christ. I try to be a good neighbor, friend, wife, and mother by doing acts of service and giving to those in need. I read my scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father. I go to church on Sunday's and teach Sunday school. And I teach my children all of these things so that they can know of Jesus Christ and strive to be like and return to him.
