Hi I'm Lexa

I'm a Mom, Wife, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old and was married in July of 2009. We just had our first son in August of 2010. I have been a member my whole life but instead of going to BYU or a school in Utah, I went to Eugene Oregon and that is where I met my husband. He was baptized a few months ago and we can't wait to have our own eternal family. I come from a family of four brothers and one sister, I am the oldest!! I danced in High School, but was never any good at sports, however, I love watching them! I enjoy all types of music and things that make me think!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church beacuse it gives me a peace and a direction in my life that I would not have otherwise. It helps me to be a better Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Friend. I am glad that I know that I can be with my family forever! I am happy to know that my life has a purpose, and a goal to obtain here on earth. It gives my comfort to know that I can live forever with those I love and makes me be the best self I can be!

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday afternoon where I teach in the Primary and try to do my best at my monthly visiting teaching. We also have the missionaries in our home often being that my husband is a recent convert.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Absolutely they can be toegether forever. That is one of the greatest things about this Gospel, the oppertunity that you have to know that as hard as it is to loose your family members that you will, without a doubt be able to see them again, and live with them in Heaven. It is a wonderful blessing to be able to know that and to share that with others. We believe that families will be together forever, that after we die we will enter the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father and our families will be waiting there to greet us. Our church is so focused around families and the unity and strength that comes with a family, and we strive to share that message with everyone so that they too can know that they can be with their own famliy for eternity!
