Hi I'm Daniel

I like to observe. I like to think. Oh, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

Currently, I'm serving a two-year mission in San Bernardino, CA. Music places third after my God and my family, for all three have been very good to me. Life is very interesting, especially when people are involved. Thus, I realistically wish to become a psychologist sometime in the unknown, but blessed, future. Although if I could have granted my one, true, earthly wish, it would be to tour in a rock or jazz band in world-wide fashion and never have to work a single day of my entire adult life.

Why I am a Mormon

My decision to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints came not from my friends, nor my family, and not even from God. I have personally chosen to follow my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, after recieving divine witness that His life is the best and perfect one to follow. Nevertheless, all of the aforementioned have provided great influence and even righteous persuasion to inherit such a fate, to become a follower of the Almighty. I love the Lord because of the love he has for me. Though I may never be able to completely repay that which the Father and Son have given me, I have to come to understand that what They ask of me to do unto others what has been done unto me. I have been blessed with many people and many things in my life, so why shouldn't I be grateful? This life is the time to strive to be perfect as Christ is, so I will strive to match my will with His in order to please my dear Father in Heaven. I am far from perfect, but the achievement is not impossbile, should I faithfully and hopefully walk in the path that has been lovingly set before me by Those who will never abandon me.

How I live my faith

I have found that I best serve my brothers and sisters through music, for that is how I truly express the oh-so-genuine sentiments of my young adult heart. Teaching the Gospel is also a blessing I have obtained, for it has helped not only the students, but through such process I have learned many things about God and myself.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Daniel
Just as in any other unit or organization, the roles of a husband and a wife may be fulfilled in different respects, yet are neverthless magnified to serve a unified purpose. The husband is to be the head of family. The wife is to be the heart of the family. One cannot not fully function without the other, thus their individual faith, effort and value is of equal importance and dependence. Both the husband and wife are co-partners in a family, living to serve God and the children they raise in order to one day qualify for eternal status, that is, living in perfect love as the strongest unit known to man forever in the presence of God. Of course, such an achievement may be reached through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ to best of their ability. Show more Show less
