Hi I'm Karl

I am a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I am a hard working dad-to-be who loves rock and roll, college/professional football, Mexican food, any good books, and most importantly, my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the ONLY church that I know of that encourages it's members to seek the truth on a personal level. I have personally felt the necessity to seek the truth for myself, to inspect every doctrine from every angle and then ponder the life implications. The wonderful thing about being a member of this church, is that we know that revelation is a personal matter. Through our relationship with our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, we have the promise that we can 'know the truth of all things.'

How I live my faith

One of the reasons I really LOVE my faith, is because the Church is structured in a way that gives me the opportunities to LIVE my faith. In my local congregation, I have had the opportunity to serve as a lay teacher in a Sunday School class geared towards those who are unfamiliar with the glorious teachings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I love this opportunity not only because I can see the Brothers and Sisters in my class begin to change, but also because the Holy Ghost constantly testifies to me the truth of the doctrines being taught. This constant divine testimony acts like a foundation for me in my life to continue building and becoming more like Jesus Christ.
