Hi I'm Heather

I'm from Fresno, CA. I like to wakeboard & ski. I'm currently serving as a missionary in the Georgia Macon Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. I have studied three years at BYU, majoring in Exercise Science. Last summer I spent four months on a study abroad in Jerusalem. I recently ran a half marathon. I love to travel. I love the outdoors. I love sharing this amazing gospel, and I am currently doing just that as a missionary in the Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina area for 18 months!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because this church brings so much happiness into my life. It provides me hope that even though I am imperfect, that my Heavenly Father loves me and that I can return to live with Him again. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins, and that I can be forgiven of my imperfections. I know that Jesus Christ knows every pain and sorrow that we have ever encountered. He is our best friend and older brother. I know that this church is true with all of my heart. I know that this is a gospel of peace and happiness. This gospel helps me to live a life of purpose. I don't know where I would be without this gospel and my relationship with my Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually allowing my faith to change me and make me a better person. I strive to be an example of someone that loves Christ and wants to better myself to be closer to Him. Currently, I am donating 18 months of life in service to my God and Savior. Everyday I get the honor of having the name of Jesus Christ on my badge and being a respresentative of Him. I get to share the good news of the gospel each and every day!! There is no greater work!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Heather
Mormons are not required to serve missions, but many choose to serve because of their love for the Lord, and their desire to spread this gospel to the world. Show more Show less
