Hi I'm Malinda

The Gospel is the foundation in my life for all things, it has helped my growth and desire to be a disciple of Christ

About Me

I am a single mother of three young adult children, have two son in laws and one grand daughter. I decided to go back to school and am attending the University. Currently I am studying International Foreign Affairs with psychology and sociology. I have been through some amazing adversities, the have given me great faith and increased my knowledge and testimony of my Savior, they have been some of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I love the outdoors, reading, learning and outdoor sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my knowledge and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that the LDS church has set up the Gospel as our Lord and Savior did when he was on the church with the proper priesthood Authority. I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon contain guidance for us to live our lives the best we can as disciples of Christ and in doing so it helps us to be a happier and healthier people. I know that other religions have truths to them, but I believe that through the power of revelation and the priesthood we are the only church that has the authority with Prophets, apostles and revelations like unto the Days of Christ. I am a Christian and I go to church on the sabbath to increase my relationship with my Savior. I know him intimately, he has held me, encouraged me in some of my darkest hours of need and it has been because of him that I am alive today and can feel his light in my life daily. I know that we each have the opportunity to prayerfully read of him, study and receive and an answer to our prayers as to the truthfulness of this Gospel. I know my Savior, that he lived on this earth and he lives now and will one day return again. I know the gospel to be the most true teaching of Christ our Lord on the face of the earth today. When one experiences things I have, have felt his touch, his love and kindness and mercy, there is no way to deny any of it. I would love to share the light he gives with all who desire.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each day to do better than the day before. Starting each day with prayer and ending as well, prayer is one of the most instrumental part of my daily life in study, blessing food, searching for personal answers. I obey our health code so I can live a richer life and be more in tune with my Savior. I keep the Sabbath Day Holy and dedicate that day to the Lord. I am not perfect and so in my prayers I work with the Lord on my sins and try to overcome my weaknesses. I hope and pray that I am an example of all that we believe in our Faith and I know I have amazing faith in all things. I have conducted music, taught sisters and youth in the church about our gospel principles and currently help with a bulletin board showing events that happen within my certain ward.
