Hi I'm Charlie.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California. My parents joined the church when I was a little boy. That decision has made all the difference in my life. I am married with four children. I work as a senior portfolio manager at a global wealth management firm.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me values and standards and a happier way of life. The church teaches me how to be a good husband and father. It gives me concrete ways to strengthen my marriage. My wife and I love each other more now than we ever have, after 27 years of marriage. This is a direct result of living the teachings of the church. Our marriage is also stronger because we were able to go the temple and be sealed there as husband and wife for time and all eternity, not until death do us part. The church gives us guidance and support in raising our four children and helping them navigate their teenage years and reach their full potential. The church has helped me understand who I am, why I am here on earth and where I am going. It has helped me make sense of this crazy world. I have learned of my relationship to God and that He can communicate with me. I get strength from Him.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed success in my career by holding to the standards taught in the church. These include honesty, hard work and integrity. In the church, we are taught to pray and study our scriptures daily. I do this and find as I communicate with God and search His teachings every day, I have more power to overcome difficulties and experience more happiness in my life. I feel more peace and direction from God. My faith in Christ is increased and that gives me confidence and power to move forward in my life. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! It blesses every aspect of my life. It is my foundation and anchor.
