Hi I'm Virginia

I am a Mother, a childcare provider, I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 teenagers, who are in a garage band. I own a Nationally Accredited Childcare Facility. I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives my life meaning and values to help me guide my children through life.

How I live my faith

As a Early Childhood Professional, I am involved in the community as a childcare mentor and trainer. I am also the President of a non-profit childcare provider association.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Virginia
One of the best things about learning about Mormonism and the Book of Mormon, is that to find out if it is true - you don't have to take my word for it or anyone else's. One of the Prophets named Moroni, who wrote part of the Book or Mormon, made a promise to everyone who reads it that if they would sincerely pray to Heavenly Father to know if it is true, then Heavenly Father will let you know for yourself whether it is true or not. Moroni 103-5 Anyone who sincerely asks God, can find answers. For me, it is a feeling deep in my chest that I can reflect on whenever I need peace. What is fabulous about that is that once you pray sincerely and receive your answer, then you have received not only the answer you were praying for but you have also learned that we really do have a Heavenly Father who knows us, listens to our prayers and answers them. Then you can pray to Heavenly Father whenever you want and for whatever you need and he will, in reality, answer you. Knowing that is one of the things I value most as a member of the church and as a Mother. Show more Show less
