Hi I'm Vietnam

I grew up in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I'm a Mormon since 1994

About Me

I'm a young dad of 3 children. I´ve been working for hospitality industry for about 15 years in Front Office and Revenue Management.

Why I am a Mormon

I never was a member of any church but always believe there was a God. Once, while visiting a friend on her birthday, I met the LDS missionaries, we shared good moments. The zone leader asked if I would like to learn about the church, I agreed and gave him my address. A month later two missionary girls knocked on my door, my wife and I welcomed them in and right from their first visit we felt something special about their message. The most wonderful thing was that we could know by ourselves the message is real and come from heaven through a sincere prayer. Two weeks later we started attending church meetings every sunday. We were baptized 8 months later the same day our first stake was formed. I know Our Heavenly Father made a plan for us to follow and go back to Him, I also know Our Lord Jesus Christ has made that returning to heaven possible. I testify that The Father and The Son spoke to Joseph Smith, our first profet, and commanded him to restore the True Gospel and that The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latte Day Saints is the kindom of God on earth. I've been so blessed on this knowledge and my life has a sence of hope that we can live with Our Father in heaven again.

How I live my faith

I have a busy life during the week, I work for an important hotel in my city. Even though I balance y time with church duties. I read the scritpures every day. I was called to be the Ward Bishop and a I have to take care of the Families, I attent to the temple as often as I can, also I'm a volunteer in our Family History Center and an Arbitrator in Family Search Indexing. It seems to be much work to do, but when you serve the Lord and help God's children to learn what to do to return to His presence you just feel joyfull.
