Hi I'm Rena

I grew up all over the world, because my father was in the Air Force. I am an at home wife and mother of three. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, and a mother of three ages 18, 11, and 6. I should say I am a mother of four, because I did a son who died right before he was born. He would of been 20 this year. I grew up all over the world because my father was in the Air Force. I was able to live in England and Germany, and all over the United States. I have lived in Colorado for 6 years, and love it! I have a hard working husband that makes it so I don't have to work outside of our home. I love being able to be at home for him and our children. I enjoy trying new receipts for dinners. Although not always successful. I've been trying to loss the same 30 pounds for five or more years. I've lost it and it just keeps on finding its way back! I do enjoy walking, and the mountains!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon. I have a great mother that has always been a wonderful example to me. That doesn't mean that I always followed her example. Even though I spent all my youth in the church I didn't really convert until I was in my mid to late 30s. Now I am a Mormon because I have lived my life at one point trying not to be. I learned that I am a much happier person when I live the standers and the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a Mormon because I want my children to have the teaching of the church in their lives so that when it is time to make hard choices they can have direction and not just go where ever the world would like them to go. I am a Mormon because I love the peace and joy I now have in my life even when things are not so peaceful around me.

How I live my faith

I try to find someone each day that I may be able to help. I volunteer at our local hospice. I am in the leadership of our women's organization in our ward and get to teach them every few months. Which I love to do. I organize the activities that we have for the women in our ward. Some of the activities involve donating things to the community such as food for the food bank, items to a women's shelter,... All things I truly enjoy!
