Hi I'm Amber

I'm a wife, I'm a mommy to 3 AND I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 3 children. I LOVE to cook and bake and am always trying to create new recipes usually successfully. I am a vocalist and love to sing to my kids every night at bedtime. My family is my world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught by the missionaries and baptized at age 19. I have been able to learn and grow a great deal since then. Mormonism is more than my religion, it is my way of life. I try to always remember my Savior, Jesus Christ, and follow Him by serving others the way that He did when he was here on earth.

How I live my faith

My faith has gotten me through some very difficult times in my life. In the last 5 years, we have lost 7 of our close loved ones. My husband and I have lost 3 babies during pregnancy, a niece, his father, his brother and a sister-in-law. Knowing that they are in a good place AND that we will someday be with them again somewhat takes away the sting.

In whom should we have faith?

Amber
I think the most common misconception about our church stems from the fact that many call it "The Mormon Church". The real name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There is much speculation as to whether or not we are Christian. In my opinion, a Christian is anyone who follows Christ and believes Him to be the Savior of the world. Jesus Christ set a perfect example for each of us to follow, he performed miracles AND most of all He atoned for our sins. Through Him we are able to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father if we are true and faithful and endure this life until the end.  Show more Show less
