Hi I'm Dillon Goodman

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I run track. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Pima, Arizona, a small town in southeastern Arizona. I am a brother of six, an uncle of 12, and a son of two. I ran track at a college for a year and will be running again after my mission. Besides track I love playing basketball, spending time with my family, going camping, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents taught me to live according to the principles and teachings of the church. As I have grown older and seen life from different views and perspectives, I have prayed to my Father in Heaven to ask him if the things I had been taught were true. The feelings and promptings from the Spirit I have recieved and continue to recieve confirm to me that it is true. From my own experience I have come to realize the blessings that come from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for the Church in the Oregon Portland Mission. I am living my faith by taking a break from school and track and spending two years of my life serving my Heavenly Father and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Dillon Goodman
You can know if you read the Book of Mormon, think about what is in it and how it makes you feel, then ask God through prayer if the book is scripture written by prophets of ancient times just like the Bible. If you do this with a sincere desire to know the truth, Heavenly Father will answer your prayers through the power of the Holy Ghost. If you come to know the Book of Mormon is true, you will also come to know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God just as Moses was, and most importantly that Jesus Christ is your brother and Savior.
