Hi I'm April Cleaver

I'm a wife, mother, artist/designer, blogger, and a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost, I am a daughter of God. No matter what life throws at me, when I remember that fact first, I know that I can make it through. I am happy to hold the callings of wife and mother, and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be both. I absolutely adore my sweet little family. I met my husband at BYU-Idaho and we were married in the Seattle Temple. We have two beautiful, sweet, and energetic little boys. The gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life, and I'm so grateful for all the blessings I've received. Through the gospel, I've learned where true happiness comes from.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was twelve years old. I've had some struggles in my life, but the one thing I've never doubted is the wonderful spirit I feel as I learn the doctrine. Mormon's believe that the family is the most important unit, and that all people should love and serve one another. I've never felt more loved. I've learned so much about my Savior Jesus Christ since I joined the church. I'm so grateful for the strength this gospel has given me.

How I live my faith

I've served as a teacher for children ages 3-11 as well as young women ages 12-18, and I've helped plan activities and events for the church. I've greatly enjoyed doing both!

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

April Cleaver
No, we do not worship Joseph Smith. We believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that he translated the Book of Mormon. Our church is founded upon the teachings of Jesus Christ, and we worship Christ our Savior and our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
