Hi I'm Mitchell!

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im 19 years old and am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up on a farm in Idaho and have spent most my life learning how to play and work. I can recal being out in the grain fields helping my family move pipe when the grain was taller then me! From chasing runaway pigs with a cousin, to getting run over by a bull, life on the farm was always an adventure! I also worked for others in my hometown who are big grain and potato farmers and have grown to love the smell of dirt and the roar of tractors and combines. With all of that one might just think im a work-a-holic but Ive had my fare share of FUN! You could find me climbing the face of a mountain, wakeboarding, snowmobiling, skiing, and playing games with my family. You better believe that I was taught to play just as hard as I was taught to work. I love my life and were I come from. Idaho is the best place on earth, and I have been blessed to enjoy it all the years of my life with a great big happy family. How big? Well, I have four brothers and four sisters with a mom and dad who were always there for us with what ever we needed. From physical to spiritual, they were always there for us! They taught us all, by example, the gospel of Jesus Christ which has been at the heart of my family since day one of mom and dad sealing the deal. I love my Savior and am greatful for all He has done for me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the 'Mormon' faith. When I was old enough to comprehend what was being taught to me it always felt right in side. I was brought up to pray and help others. Those two things alone are very basic but profound teachings in the Mormon faith. They have brought me through life's difficulties and kept me close to my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I make a lot of mistakes, but I know that my Heavenly Father still loves me and sent his only Son to pay the price for me so that I could have some one to confide in for all of life's difficulties and my own mistakes. That right there brings me great peace and strength and is one reason why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I live my faith 24/7, as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, or the 'Mormon' faith. Every day I get the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone I meet, and have the chance to bear my testimony of its truthfulness to them. Every day as I learn more and as the gospel changes my life, I also get to see and help others learn of that same gospel and to experience a change in their lives as well. Change is how I live my faith a change made possible by a loving Savior.
