Hi I'm Natalie

I grew up in New Mexico and Utah. Now I'm a speech-language pathologist in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, aunt, and I absolutely love me family. I earned my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology only 5 years after graduating from high school. After graduation I moved out on my own to southern California and then later to northern California to be a Speech Therapist in public schools. It has been hard but a great experience living and working on my own! I enjoy blogging, bargain shopping, digital scrapbooking, playing the piano, singing, making jewelry, exercising, reading, traveling, and anything that makes me laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has roots in the Church, and I grew up with it in my life. I was baptized when I was 8 years old and gained my own testimony of the Gospel as I grew older. When I moved out to go to college, I learned that it was up to me to go to church, pray, and read my own scriptures. It was during this time that I think I truly gained my own testimony. I know that this Gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that he was an instrument in the Lord's hands to restore the Gospel. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today to guide us. I know that we have the scriptures to also guide us through this life, and that the Book of Mormon is true scripture in addition to the Bible. I know that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that no matter what we do in this life, He loves us and we can be forgiven. I know that families are forever and that I want to do my very best to return back to live with Heavenly Father!

How I live my faith

I currently attend church with other young single adults, ages 18-30. I have been called to work with all of the women in this group. Together we learn about the Gospel, we visit with each other, we have fun, and we look out for each other! In my every day life, I think I most live my faith by being a good example to others. I always try my best to be kind and friendly to others and to let the light of Christ shine through me.
