Hi I'm Corinne

I'm a Mommy, a Wife, a Bookworm, and a Question asker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very open minded person. I live in a world where you cannot just accept what is handed to you. My family is paramount to me. I am a wife and a mommy, and I love every minute of it. I love the thrill of reading a good book and getting lost in lands of make-believe. My mind is constantly racing and I love to write down the stories that spin around in my head. I love being on stage, acting, singing, and entertaining. I love art and creation, I love to paint and scrapbook. I was home-schooled as a child and was so happy with it, that I plan to home-school my own children. I feel that life is a gift, but also a test. I try to live my life in a way that will reflect the final grade I am striving for.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, I have ancestors who crossed the plains with Brigham Young in the 1800's. This is NOT why I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this church. I sought my own knowledge of truth. I asked my own questions. I believe that humans did not just pop into existence. There must be a higher power, a Heavenly Parent. I believe that our Heavenly Father is kind, and just and merciful. I believe that He provided a way for ALL of his children to return to Him someday. Every question I have ever had, has been fully and perfectly answered by principles of the gospel, as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know it to be true. It has made my life so much better, happier, and fuller because of its presence in my life. I can truly say that I cannot comprehend the chaos, my life would be in, if I did not have the true gospel of Jesus Christ in my life today.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every sunday, and many other meetings that are held sometimes during the week. I am the 'ward chorister' right now which means I get to lead the hymns each sunday. I also get to select which hymns we as a congregation sing. I absolutely love it! Music has always made me happy so I always enjoy doing something musically. I love the feeling of family in my church. Everyone seems to know everyone, and we talk and interact with each other as though we are more than just members of the same congregation.
