Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a married grandfather of six children and ten grandchildren, so far. I am retired although I seem to be busier now than when I wasn't. My hobbies are woodworking, golf, fishing, boating, and spending time with my family. My wife and I love to travel and see new places. We also enjoy helping others whenever possible, and have made many new friends and enriched our lives by so doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 20 years of age. My life had had little purpose until that time. Although I was raised in another faith, I really didn't understand my relationship with God or what part religion was playing in my life. As I came to understand that Heavenly Father truly is my Father and I his son, my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Saviour and eternal Redeemer and why I am here on Earth, it gave real meaning to my life and helped me to have direction in all aspects of living. I have never once regretted my decision to be baptized into His Church. I know he truly is there for me always.

How I live my faith

When I joined this church I found that there were plenty of opportunities to give service....in fact our leaders encourage us to, as it helps us draw nearer to our Saviour who was the perfect example of helping others. Recently my wife and I had the opportunity to give service on a mission to help others in need as well as to share our thoughts and feelings about Jesus Christ and his teachings. It was a highlight in our lives and we hope to do it again soon.
