Hi I'm Cheryl

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 and Grandmother of 7. Step-mother to 5 and step-Grandma to 13 more wonderful children. Yes 20 Grand children in all. I was married in the Spokane Temple June 2011. I raise sheep, spin wool, weave, knit, crochet and felt. I love taking the fleece from my sheep and making things with it. I also love making buckskin clothing and leather baby shoes.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Mormon church. I know that that Joseph Smith was called of God to be a prophet. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I went to Bible College and had many questions the teachers could not answer, when I read the Book of Mormon it answered those questions and so much more.

How I live my faith

I enjoy doing service for my community and Church. I enjoy visiting with my church friends and talking about the Bible and the times we live in. The wisdom we can gain from re-reading the scriptures and in daily prayer and study.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

So we can be ready for disasters, job loss or other problems that arrive in life. We are also ready to help our friends and neighbors when they have a need. Show more Show less
