Hi I'm Mosese

I'm from Fiji, but born in Hawaii, I love music and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised in Laie, Hawaii. Moved to Fiji in the 7th Grade and been there ever since! (Whatta Blessing!) I was born in the Church but am also a convert to the Gospel. (Aren't we all?!) God is the most important priority in my life. Then my family, then me ! Music has always been apart of my life (though I dont sing or play tons of instruments) so picking up and learning to play the ukulele was a great decision.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the faith. When I was growing up, I was always taught by my parents to be a little more like our Savior. Whenever we'd have the opportunity to share a testimony in church, I would always walk up to the pulpit and repeat the same testimony I learned from other kids my age. One day, while laying down in bed, I thought to myself, "I cant live on others testimony forever, I have to know if what I'm saying is true!" I counldn't live on a "borrowed testimony". I started reading the Book Of Mormon and praying to Heavenly Father to ask if my testimony I kept repeating was really true. I felt a powerful but peaceful feeling. I then knew, for myself, that the Book Of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith did translate the Book Of Mormon. I knew that my family could be together FOREVER ! I knew that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, I would be able to be more happier in life. And simply: through that happiness, I would want to share the gospel to everyone i knew. I want them to know that they themselves can live with their families throughout eternity. I have seen blessings growing up and within our household. As I understood how important it is to live the teachings of the gospel, I've come to appreciate the Savior more for the things he has done for me specifically. I have seen a lot of happiness in those who strive to be obedient to living the gospel everyday and I hope to share that same happiness with those brothers and sisters I see.

How I live my faith

Someone once said "The best sermon one can give is their EXAMPLE". Its been awesome to see that by the small and simple things, great things come about! I have a strong testimony the little things that we sometimes take for granted or the little oppurtunities we get to share about how Jesus Christ has helped me in my life. I sure hope that anyone I meet will have a stronger desire to live more like our Savior. In the end, thats all I can do; show them how the gospel has blessed me and invite them to see for themselves the "specific" blessings the Lord has in store for them.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

The family plays a big role in God's plan of happiness. We were sent to this earth to learn and grow. In our families, we serve, love, teach and learn from one another. Together, we strengthen one another and help eachother progress throughout life. Though at times, it may be difficult, we are able to grow and learn from our experiences as a family. We can choose to make our families stronger and happier. Through Gods Plan for us, we are able to return to live with him and live with our families eternally. Show more Show less
