Hi I'm Jaclyn

I grew up on a farm. I love learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Today I am in North Carolina serving a mission. In a few months I will be back home and doing the same thing without a black name tag and wearing pants again. I love this work. It is the hardest thing to talk to people about the gospel, but it is also the easiest. Currently, I'm learning to trust in the Lord. I am looking for the little things everyday that shows his love. A free taco, a friendly person willing to listen, or finding someone who accepts help painting their house are some of the things God has shown me. I am finding His love is endless because He asked me to serve Him for 18 months in North Carolina. I asked what He wanted me to do and this was the answer He gave me. He always knows what is best for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I started being a Mormon because my family is. Now, I am teaching the principles that Christ taught when He was on the earth. I know better now. I'm not a Mormon because my family is. I am a Mormon because Heavenly Father has told me that this is it. This is Christ's church. I asked a question and my Father answered. It is as simple as that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by learning of Christ and following His example. Living faithfully is a never ending endeavor but is well worth the effort. I've learned that the fear and worry of the future will be taken care of if I will follow His commandments and know He will keep the promises He has made.
