Hi I'm Meghan

I grew up in Portland, OR, I am an Interior Designer, I love to made custom cakes, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am an interior designer and graduated from Brigham Young University. I now work as a designer and design high end homes. I love to cook, read and ride motorcycles. I am the oldest of six children, and a wife to my wonderful husband. I love the sunshine, and am glad we live in a place where it shines all the time.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the principles that the gospel teaches help to keep my life happy. It helps me keep my life focused on others, rather than myself. I have found that when I am serving and helping others my life feels more complete. I also believe that the most important people are your family. I always strive to strengthen my family relationships, even though it is hard sometimes. I know that this can bring so much joy into my life. However, the most important reason that I am a Mormon is that I know that Christ is my Savior and that he loves me. I know that he has a plan for my life even when life presents unexpected events that turn your life upside down. I know that he died in order for me to be able to repent, and become better until I am perfect and can live with my Father in Heaven when I die. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith serving as the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's Presidency in the Parkwood Ward. I help the 12 and 13 year old girls plan the activities that they attend each week. We plan service projects, fun group activities, and work on our "Personal Progress". Personal Progress is a challenge given to each Young Women to help her set and achieve goals that help to strengthen her testimony. I also visit women in the ward that I am assigned on a monthly basis to make sure they are doing ok.
