Hi I'm Marcus

I'm a tarheel fan, I like to ski and laugh and I hate spaghetti. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Lived most of my life growing up in North Carolina and am a huge fan of Carolina basketball. I like to listen to any type of music except for country. I enjoy skiing , tennis, movies, just about anything fun. I love going to the beach and haning out with my family/friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS my entire life , so fortunatley I had the opportunity to know about the church from a young age. Although the reason I have choosen to stay an active memeber of the church is because the happiness it has brought into my life and the testimony I have been able to find in the Book of Mormon. Coming from a split family I can see the differences between people who follow the standards of the church and those that do not. The strength and peace this religion has given me allows me to always come pack to the same conclusion... that I am a Mormon because this church is true.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and by going out there and sharing my testimony with everyone I meet. As I strive to serve God I also set a good example to my family and friends. We do service projects and are always looking for people to help in the community we serve in.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Marcus
No, we understand that we are all God's children and that we go out and serve everyone that we meet. My family has helped in many disasters around the country one of which being Hurricane Katrina. As you help people out there is special kind of joy that it brings you this is the case for both members and non-members of the church. Show more Show less
