Hi I'm Marcia

My husband and I have eight children. I enjoy arranging and composing music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are the parents of eight children. I am a coach, counselor, referee, cheerleader, taxi driver, psychologist, cook, mentor, arbiter, doctor, tutor, laundress, teacher, detective, etc. In short, I am a mother and I love it! I also enjoy composing and arranging music, singing, jogging, reading, going on bike rides with my husband, organizing something that needs order, learning something new, and playing with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were Mormons before me. At an early age I felt in my heart that what my parents taught me and the principles that governed their lives were right and true. I am a Mormon today because I have learned for myself, through my own spiritual experiences, that these principles as taught by prophets in the Book of Mormon and the Bible are true. I know that trying every day to obey God's commandments and following the example of Jesus Christ is what brings me happiness. I have a deep hope and abiding faith that through the Atonement of Christ I can some day become all that Heavenly Father wants me to become. Being a Mormon makes me happy because I know of the great plan of our Heavenly Father and I understand the purpose of this life. That knowledge brings me hope, confidence, and perspective through triumphs and trials alike.

How I live my faith

Being a wife and a mother gives me countless opportunities to live my faith. When I remember to turn to the Savior, Jesus Christ and try to handle situations as He would, things somehow seem to work out better and my faith grows. Every day I try to read the scriptures, pray, and follow the counsel from inspired leaders. I serve in the Young Womens organization in the church. In spite of the time commitment, I have been greatly blessed in my efforts. Besides that, it's a lot of fun and I love the close association with the girls and other leaders. I try to live my faith by sharing what I know to be true with others. I know that by following the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I can find true peace and happiness in my life. I know that He knows all of us personally and loves us unconditionally. He will help us as we trust in Him.
