Hi I'm Kathleen

I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I love to play and teach piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is everything to me, and I can't imagine my life without them. I cherish our time together, playtime with my grandbabies and date nights with my husband. I enjoy quiet time at home and the beauty of this earth and Heavenly Father's creations. I love animals and especially enjoy watching birds of prey as they soar gracefully through the sky.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life. It is what I've always known. In the Mormon faith, we are taught that God hears and answers prayers. I believe that because He has answered mine over and over again. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace and happiness. It gives my life meaning and direction because I know that following the Savior and His teachings is what brings me and my family the greatest joy. I know my life has a purpose and a plan, and this makes me want to be the best I can so that I can experience the blessings that God, our Heavenly Father, has for me in this life and after. I know that I am His daughter, that all of us are His spirit children and that we can return to live with Him someday, together with our families. That is the greatest blessing that all of us can attain.

How I live my faith

Every day I try to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, even though I am not perfect. I enjoy studying the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, and learning more about Him and our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. Daily, I seek Father's help and counsel through prayer and find comfort and strength in knowing that He hears me. I try to serve those around me and help others realize their importance and potential. I have served in the church ever since I was a teenager. Throughout the years, I have had many opportunities to help organize and participate in various events, as well as lead, teach and work with young children and youth. I currently work with a wonderful group of 12-18-year-old girls and enjoy my time with them, both on Sundays during church and Wednesday evenings. I also have numerous opportunities to reach out and assist fellow women and their families. I am grateful for the opportunities I have to serve and for the growth I experience through them.
