Hi I'm Jason Wittman

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in the Church. I have found so much peace and joy within the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

My name is Jason. I am a husband and father of three wonderful children. I enjoy hunting and woodworking. I have made book cases, shelves, and have even made a sewing table for a neighbor. I love sports. I have played Soccer, Footbal, Baseball and even met my wife playing Softball. My Family is such a strength and joy in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and served a full-time mission. I have personally witnessed and recieved Priesthood Blessings that changed lives and gave me a firm belief that this is the true and everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ. My Father was Baptised into the LDS Church in the Bong Song River in Vietnam, while serving in the Army. It is a powerful story that I love to hear and am so greatfull that He had the courage to take the steps that have led to so much joy and happiness in my life. My wife and I were married in the Mesa Temple for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

I have had many different callings in our ward. I have been a Scoutmaster, Sunday School teacher, and a Ward Mission Leader where I was able to work with full-time missionaries and see members of our community accept the LDS Church teachings and enter the waters of Baptism. It is a wonderful feeling to see the joy, peace and love that the teachings of the LDS Church gives to all that inquire and have a desire to learn.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Jason Wittman
Yes, in John 10:11 Jesus Christ tells us "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." Then in verse 16 Christ says, "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." The crowning event recorded in the Book of Mormon is the personal ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ among the Nephites soon after his resurrection. It puts forth the doctrines of the gospel, outlines the plan of salvation, and tells men what they must do to gain peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come. Show more Show less
