Hi I'm Jenifer

I'm a mom. I'm a wife. I'm an ER nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mom to four crazy but lovable children. I work two days a week in a busy ER. I have a supportive and fun husband who helps us every day. I am also in school trying to further my education. Life is busy...... but never boring. I love the ordinary days.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the teachings to be true. I grew up in the church and have never known anything else. When I met my future husband he was not of our faith. He invited me to his church. It wasn't until I went that I really questioned if what I had believed my whole life to be true. I decided to pray to find out for myself. I remember finding a quiet place to pray to ask. After praying for what seemed like a while, a warm feeling of peace entered my heart. I KNEW. It was like something was telling me that the things I had been taught my whole life were true. I recognized that as the Holy Ghost testifying to me that the teachings of the gospel were correct. The Gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me. In a world full of chaos and confusion I am grounded and feel peace. I could not and would not ever be able to deny these feelings I have. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and will always strive to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I know is right. It seems like the world is getting more and more confused. By striving to live the things I have been taught, I find peace and clarity. I live my faith by helping others. Giving service to others is something that brings me happiness. I live my faith by being the best person I can be. Life has many challenges and trials but by making the best out of any given situation things can get better and we can be happy. I live my faith each day by example. Being kind to others is important. The simple gesture of a smile can go a long way to lift another. Living my faith is important to me. It may not always be easy..... but it is worth it.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families come in all different sizes. I come from a large family. We are all grown now and have families of our own. We try to get together often and spend quality time with one another. Families bring the greatest joy in life. Our family isn't perfect but we recognize that the relationships that we have with one another are very important. We laugh together, we play together and we comfort each other. We have been taught that the family is central to God's plan. We truly believe this and try to live it every day. Show more Show less
