Hi I'm Francisco.

I was Born in to the L.D.S church but most of my family are Catholic. I've lived in Arizona all my life.

About Me

I'm a truck driver and love the outdoors. I like to hunt, go to the lake, and do some fresh water fishing. I like to vacation with my family in San Diego and go to Universal Studios, Disney Land and deep sea fish. I'm married and have four grown children and they are all married with children of their own which makes me a grandfather. I was born in Mexico and raised in Arizona when I was a little boy. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. I'm the second oldest. My parents were married in the temple and as well as my wife and I. The most important people in my life are my family and I love them all very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I a Mormon because it is a way of life and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have clarity as to my purpose on the earth. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that He lives. I'm comforted to know about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that He is my personal Savior. Looking back on my life I can see the difference between keep the commandments of God appose to living rebelliously and not according to my Heavenly Fathers plan. This life is not meant to live and figure all things out yourself. I'm grateful for prayer and to know that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and not only listens to my prayers but He does answer them. I've learned that all I have to do is listen to the Holy Ghost and act upon His council He gives me so that I might be happy, be lifted up, and/or received the direction I need in my life. The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is true and Thomas S Monson is a prophet of God and leads His church in these latter-days so that I can return to be with my Father. My true happiness is serving others and help those not as fortunate as I am.

How I live my faith

I attend all my church meetings. I serve as first councilor for my High Priest Quorum. I support my bishop whom I have learned to love and respect. He is a great example to as to what a true servant of the Lord should do and serve others. I love to do my home teaching and visit my families. This gives me the opportunity to make friends and serve them. Such as, when they are in need I'll go over on a Saturday morning and cut down their dead tree and haul it away. On occasion I'll have the opportunity to exercise my priesthood and give blessings. I bear my testimony to my co-workers and anyone who wants to learn more. I live the Gospel of Jesus Christ because actions speak more than words. I love being apart of planning and helping out with quorum activities. Such as dinners, going shooting, and get togethers for learning about each others professions. The highlight of my week is attending the temple with my wife. One of my favorite hymns is "Because I Have Been Given Much". I love to start out my mornings with my personal time, scripture study and prayer.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

A family is another testimony that God lives. To be able to be apart of special people. If it be your mother, father, sons, daughters, grand children or your wife. Just knowing that I'm apart of that. Family strengthens my testimony that God lives. One of my greatest fears is to be alone and the knowledge of families are eternal gives me comfort to know that I can be with the people Love forever. Show more Show less
