Hi I'm Sheree

I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania. Now I live in the city. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single mother of four grown children. I have seven grandchildren. I'm a CPA and currently work as an auditor.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents became members of the church when my mom was 8 and when my dad was in his early 20's. My parents always attended church even though the church was more than 30 miles away. I learned about the gospel from attending regularly and always had a desire to continue to grow spiritually. The church is an important part of my life.

How I live my faith

I provide assistance to women with various needs - grief, depression, new mothers, sick, hospitalized, etc. I organize the other women to take meals, babysit, visit, clean homes, and provide other assistance as needed. I also spend time with other women to provide support and friendship. I read my scriptures and pray daily. I attend the temple monthly.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Sheree
I wear a dress or skirt and shirt to church. I love holidays and celebrate them. For example, I enjoy decorating my home, sending cards and treats to my children, grandchildren, and neighbors. I have fun being creative and especially enjoy chocolate treats. Show more Show less
