Hi I'm Cameron Burgess

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I live in Arizona. I have 8 people in my family. I love my parents dearly. I have an adopted brother, he was my best friend in high school, then I have 3 brothers and 1 sister I am really big into sports. I played football, basketball, and baseball all the way through high school. Except i played soccer my senior year also. I love to be outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting, and horseback riding are some of my hobbies. My plans for after my mission is to get married and attend BYU and study bio-chemistry. Then attend University of Pacific and become a dentist. I am serving a mission in the Michigan, Lansing Mission right now. Im enjoying every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the teachings 100%. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, and his purpose he fulfilled. I know that my Savior came to this world to atone for the sins of mankind, so that we all can partake in the repentance process, and return to live with our Heavenly Father once again. I have a testimony of Priesthood power. That is the power to act in Gods name it has blessed me as an individual, being a holder myself, and it has also blessed the people I come in contact with. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It has brought me close to my Savior. I know that it is another testiment of Jesus Christ. This gospel has blessed me in so many ways. I don't know where to even begin. This gospel has brought my family closer together and blessed us in our everyday lives.

How I live my faith

As of right now I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A mission is the best place to be. I have learned so much and helped others come unto Christ. I live the commandments that the Father has set forth for man kind. These commandments truely set us free. They have helped me live a more peaceful and happy life.I honorably respect my priesthood and exersice it to help the people that stand in need. I look to serve others, because when you are in the service of your fellow beings you are only in the service of your God. I look for oppurtunities everyday to share this message with as many people as I can.
