Hi I'm Brian

I am a Rehab and Pain physician, father of 4 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Brian. I'm a Pain & Rehab Physician, father of four and I'm a Mormon. I recently completed 8 years in the military caring for many of the most severely wounded servicemembers from recent wars. Out of this experience I developed an expertise and passion for helping those in need with complex pain and rehabilitation issues. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children. I also enjoy running, basketball, volleyball and surfing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and have received multiple powerful spiritual witnesses of its truthfulness. This first occurred in my late teenage years when I came to a crossroads (so to speak) in life where I felt the need to make a decision whether to continue or abandon the teachings of Christ. As I looked around, I noticed those of the LDS faith stood out to me over those who did not follow the Savior's teachings. They were calm, happy and had a peacefulness about them others did not seem to have. I took the leap of faith and read and prayed over the Book of Mormon and can honestly say without any hesitation- I know it is a true book inspired by God written for our day and have dedicated my life as a disciple of Christ ever since. I continue to follow the teachings of the Savior as contained in the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon because it is without question the greatest source of happiness in my life. The Book of Mormon has deepened my understanding and love for the life and mission of my Savior Jesus Christ. It has given me tremendous perspective to know that everyone on this earth today is a literal son or daughter of God with divine potential to be like Him. These truths have positively affected and enriched every aspect of my personal and professional life.

How I live my faith

I help coordinate and teach lessons for those interested in learning more about our faith. I'm also assigned to visit three families every month to make sure their spiritual and temporal needs are met.
