Hi I'm Deanna Marie

I grew up in Arizona. I am a mother of 4. I play basketball and decorate cakes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three fun little boys and one sweet little girl. I was married for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple in Dec of 2001. I am so blessed to have an amazing husband who loves me and our kids and who is a righteous priesthood holder. I love being outside with my boys. We enjoy parks, camping, and playing when the weather is nice. We enjoy gardening. The boys love to play and dig in the dirt and look for worms. My daughter is a new addition to our family. She was born just 7 weeks ago. We are so blessed to have her in our home. I love to play basketball. I have played for as long as I can remember and I am blessed with the health and ability to continue to play. I am also blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom. I love being home with my kids. I have a bachelor degree in Special Education. I am a cake decorator. I have been decorating cakes for 8 years and love to make cakes for others. I love my children and my husband and though I am out numbered I would not trade my life as a LDS mother and wife for anything in the world!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptised when I was 8 years old. I was raised in the church and learned at a young age that my Savior and Heavenly Father love me. I love the joy that the gospel brings to me in my life. Even when life is hard, I can have peace because I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and is guiding my life. I find strength in the blessings of the temple and in knowing that my family will be together with Heavenly Father again when our journey here on earth is over. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my personal friend. He gives me strength. He helps me be more patient with my children. I know He loves me and I know that because of Him I can repent and better myself each day. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of the plan that my Father in Heaven has for me. I am a Mormon because my life is blessed, I am happy, and because I know without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church. I know that all of our teachings, commandments, and scriptures teach us that through faith in Christ and through our good works, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again and I look forward to that day!

How I live my faith

I am the primary chorister in our ward. This means that I teach the children a variety of church songs. I would describe it as a children's choir director. I have a strong testimony of my calling and the service I do for Heavenly Father's children. Each Sunday I am given the opportunity to teach every child at church, ages 18 months to 12 years, songs that teach of Christ, of the gospel, of prophets, of scriptures, and other beautiful things about Christ's church. I have a strong testimony of the power of music and I know that the spirit teaches through song. I have felt the spirit so strong as I see these darling children sing their hearts out about their Savior. I love knowing that I am planting a seed of faith in the hearts of these beautiful children through music. I currently moved to a different state and as a result I no longer work with the primary. However, my testimony of the service I did with the children is still the same.
