Hi I'm Robert

I'm a Mormon. i love bieng outdoors and hands on activities

About Me

i am currently serving in the idaho boise mission and love every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

i was not born into the church butmy parents joined shortly after my birth so i was raised in the church i was baptized at age 8 and by the time i turned 11 i quit reading my scriptures then around age 13 i quit praying my testimony bagan to weaken i started to do things that werent good and that opposed the way i was raised and taught by the time i started high school i lost all interest in the church and went only because i felt obligated to. i had no desire to go around my jr year i lost all interest in serving a mission but then my sr year brought a change to mylife the elders that were serving in my ward at the time started to teach the brother of a friend of mine i saw the joy that it brought to their lives and to the brother. i began to change my life. it wasnt easy and i am still working on it and will continue to work on it up until the day i die then in 09 i sat beside my grandfathers bedside as he was literally on his deathbed i sat there for three days in september of 09 and watched him suffer knowing that there was nothing i could do to help him and i listened to him talk about the other side. as i sat there beside his bedside i felt something. at the time i didnt recognize the spirit but i now realize that thats what it was. i just felt this peaceful feeling that all would be well and that grandpa was going to a better place. as i sat there listening to him call out to his relatives and friends that had passed on before him and as he was talking about the other side i new that there was a heaven i felt that truth in my heart. i just wanted to share that truth with everyone. then in 2010 my family went to branson missouri and as we were headed there we almost got crushed by an 18 wheeler and that really opened up my eyes as to how short life really is. had god allowed the truck to continue forward instead of turning i would not be here today i have since then changed my life and am so happy i did. ive realized that i am loved and thats why im a mormon

How I live my faith

i try mybest to be a great example. before the mission i served as the second counciler in the young mens presidency. while i was in the youthprogram i served in the quorum presidencies as well as helped the youthleaders plan the youth activities such as dances, and youth conferances
