Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A am currently a daughter of God, and will forever be! I am also a wife, and a mother of two. I graduated from college in 2008 with a degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation. I always make room for snuggling with my children, but if I do have a free moment I love to water ski, white water raft, play my fiddle or banjo, snowboard, scrapbook, or blog.

Why I am a Mormon

Sometimes life gets hard. Sometimes we find ourselves in a dark place with seemingly no one to turn to. I was raised in this church, but have stayed active in it for many reasons. One is that I know that I am never alone. My loving Heavenly Father is always there for me, listening to my prayers and helping me on my way. He sent His son, Jesus Christ to atone for me. He was there when I was sealed in His holy temple, and when I brought my sweet babies into this world. He has cheered me on, wiped away my tears, lifted me up, and understood everything that I have been through. Because of this, I am happy. I know where I came from and I know where I am going. I came to this Earth from a loving Heavenly Father. I have a loving family and am devoted to helping them learn that we can return to our Heavenly Father through His son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is my elder brother who loves me no matter what. I know that this church was restored to the Earth through Joseph Smith. The Book Of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I have read it for myself and found it's contents to be true. I know that whoever searches for truth through this book will find it!

How I live my faith

I believe in prayer. It is the most powerful form of communication between two beings. It is real. I read my scriptures daily, and I love others. I attend church meetings on Sunday that carry me through each week. I am involved in music that invites a sweet spirit into our home, and I teach young girls ages 10-11 through Activity Days, where they learn how to be better servants to our Heavenly Father and participate in fun activities. I don't believe that you have to be someone "GREAT" to be noticed. I only believe that you have to do great things, good things, and kind things each day.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Stephanie
Yes! A husband and wife who are sealed in the temple and keep true to the promises made there to each other and the Lord will live together forever. I do believe that families will live together in Heaven. The family unit is of vital importance to our Heavenly Father and He has promised us that we can live together forever. This brings me so much happiness and joy!  Show more Show less
